Work Experience
Computer Science Tutor (April 2016 – Current Day)
I have worked with and helped students from many countries with varying levels of knowledge from GCSE to University level.
I have experience creating and presenting teaching material, as well as being able to field and answer questions that arise from them.
I have taught students both in person as well as via the internet using software like Teams and Google Meet.
A-level and GCSE python Programming Tutor at Earlscliffe school (March 2025 - June 2025)
I'm filling in as a programming tutor and teacher to help catch students up to speed after there old teacher left.
I create my own lesson plans and assets, including PowerPoints, worksheets and homework's.
I teach designated lessons to GCSE, Year 12 and Year 13 independently and I present my lessons, answer questions and assign both in class written work and homework while I assist where needed.
IT Technician at Dover College (Summer 2021 & Summer 2022)
I helped communicate with staff members to trouble shoot and solve technical issues both in person and via the phone.
I restarted and reformatted student issued iPads so that they could be reassigned at the start of the year to both new and returning students.
I documented and organised switch boxes inside of multiple buildings making sure everything was working not only correctly, but efficiently as well.
Archivist at the Dover College Historic Society (Summer 2021 & Summer 2022)
I scanned and digitised important historical papers and books so that they can be preserved and easily seen by anyone.
I organised and filed historical images and files so that they were arranged in a way that made it easy for other members to see and access all of the historical data that had been collected.
I worked closely with other members to locate, transport and document important historical artefacts so that they were not only recorded and remembered but also now kept in a safer environment to avoid destruction.
