This game was made as a fun way to show off all the features of the PlayStation in a way that is fun and is not completely obvious to the user, that that is what is happening. It is a fun puzzle game where you solve puzzles on the bomb and as you do, the bomb slowly unfolds and opens up to reveal more puzzles that you need to complete within the time limit to defuse the bomb. If you run out of time the bomb blows up and you lose.
The game starts with the title screen which showcases the button layout for the player and how to start the game. In the game the player needs to use most of the features that the PlayStation DualSense controller offers. The main screen is simple in design but still efficient in telling you all the information you would need to know without any extra on screen clutter. You have the title screen, the button prompt to start the game as well as the basic controls so that the player isn't confused or lost on what to do when the game starts.

The main feature that is used throughout the game is the gyroscope which gives the player control of the crosshair and allows the player to select certain puzzles/actions they can do.
Player can always use option button to enable a pause in the game that will stop all actions and the time ticking of the bomb as well as hinting the player of controls again.
After starting the game, which is triggered by picking up the bomb via square button, the timer begins. Using left and right bumper player can zoom in and out, and right stick to rotate the bomb. The game doesn’t display exactly what to do, so player needs to use deductive reasoning to see what works for what puzzle.
Now that the basic controls are established and the core gameplay is explained through the main menu instructions and the simple basic actions the player has already completed, the player is then tasked with completing more challenging puzzles.
To know what is interactable, whenever the crosshair hovers anything of importance, it will change the colour to indicate the significance of certain pieces (in this case green).
To interact with screw pieces, you need to press the left trigger and then rotate the left stick counter clockwise which will unscrew the screw overtime and eventually open the first panel.
The Simon says puzzle works by having the game display a sequence of colours on the controller starting from 1 and ending on 5 colours. Player's needs to recreate the sequence displayed on the controller by using the gyroscope to point to the coloured button that corresponds to the next colour in the sequence and use left trigger to press the button.
The colour sequence will be shown by having both the buttons on the bomb lighting up so the player can know the sequence and also the controller will light up with the colours in order, displaying at the same time as it lighting up in game. Each colour will also play a unique sound when it lights up that will play from the controller so that the player can also use that to identify which colour is next in the sequence. There are multiple different colour sequences that can appear in the puzzle. One is picked at random when the player completes a round of the puzzle, so the colour sequence will be completely random on every run-through or on failure to complete the puzzle.
For the Morse code puzzle, the player needs to figure out the puzzle using sound, vibration and light haptic coming from the controller. Using a D-Pad to navigate on keyboard and x button to press the highlighted button. If the code is incorrect, the display will restart and player will have to insert the code again. When the Morse code finishes playing after a few seconds the code will play again from the beginning until the puzzle is solved. The player is also provided a Morse code cheat sheet on the right of the screen so that they can figure out what letters need to be inputted. There are multiple different words that can appear in the puzzle. One is picked at random when the game starts so that there is some variation of gameplay on different run-throughs.
For the secret code scratch card puzzle, the player needs to place a coin on the scratch card by pressing the touchpad button and then by swiping on the touchpad surface they can “scratch” clean the grey area to reveal the hidden code. They will then need to use the D-Pad to highlight the correct number and then by pressing the X button they can confirm the number. The actual card (once the grey is scratched off) can only be viewed from one direction like how that foil optical illusion works where you can only see an image if angled at a specific angle. This means you need to angle the bomb in a specific way so that you can see the numbers.
For the Wire Cutting puzzle, the player is required to cut the wires in the order that is displayed on the controller as indicated indicated by the lightbar. Using the crosshair the player needs to point to the wire and then by pressing the right trigger they can cut the right wire. Once the wire is cut, the colour displayed on the controller will change, indicating the next wire that the player will need to cut. This continues until either every wire is cut, thus defusing the bomb or the wrong wire is cut, in which case the bomb instantly explodes and the player loses. The order that the wires need cutting in is randomised so the player has some variations on different run-throughs.
If the order of the cut wires is wrong, or the time will run out, the bomb explodes and the Game Over text will appear, which indicate that player need to start form beginning. Controller will light up with red colour.
However if all the puzzles are finished on time, the bomb puzzles will collapse (closedown to how they where at the beginning), and victory music will play. The controller light bar will illuminate with a variety of colours indicating that the player has won.
